The name of institution, established in 1957,on inauguration was C.B.Primary School No.1 (2nd Shift) Wah Cantt. In1977, FGEI(C/G) took control of all Cantt & Garrison institutions and this particular school was renamed to F.G.Primary School No.1 (2nd Shift) Wah Cantt. The institution was initially primary; but in 1994, it was upgraded to middle school. The school is situated at Fatima Jinnah Avenue near Anwar Chowk, with a total area of 24 Kanals.The student strength has varied from time to time (800 to 1100, on average) and presently 777.
